ECG KOKUSAI Rotation Direction Tester RDT-308
[Contact Us]
The RDT-308 by ECG KOKUSAI evaluates rotation direction and magnetic flux distribution in stator coils, supporting 2 to 16 poles with a 16-pole detector. It features automatic pole detection, gain adjustment, and overcurrent protection. Via sensors, the device combines magnetic flux waveforms to deduce rotation direction and intensity. It also identifies abnormalities in winding connections, enhancing accuracy when the detector is centrally placed in the stator bore.
Features
・Simple and precise direction-of-rotation testing with two test modes.
・Automatic sensitivity adjustment function for testing with optimum detection sensitivity.
・Up to 16 stator coils can be tested with one detector.
・Communication function enables settings, results data transmission and automation to external devices.
Overview
The direction of rotation tester RDT-308 applies a 3-phase or single-phase current to a stator coil and measures the direction of rotation, distribution and variation of the magnetic flux generated by the current using a detector (detection sensor) installed in the stator coil.
The system supports stator coils with up to 16 poles, and can also test 12 / 8 / 6 / 4 / 2 poles when a 16-pole detector is used. A full range of functions such as automatic pole number detection, automatic gain and overcurrent protection are also available.
Test mechanism
Test mode 1 Rotation direction inspection
The waveforms of multiple magnetic fluxes detected by the detector are combined into two waveforms, phase A and phase B, and the overall direction of rotation and intensity are determined from the phase difference and amplitude.
Test mode 2 Inspection of phase difference and magnetic field strength by magnetic field distribution
Detects abnormalities in all magnetic fluxes and magnetic flux distributions measured by the multiple sensor coils built into the detector. Partial magnetic flux disturbances can be captured even when the overall direction of rotation is normal, leading to the detection of abnormalities in windings and connections. Although the detector must be positioned in the centre of the stator bore, more accurate testing can be carried out.
