Line Impedance Stabilization Network

Line Impedance Stabilization Network TNW-247F2

The TNW-242F2 is a Line impedance stabilization network(LISN) used to measure interference voltage leaking from the interference sources due to the power supply line in the frequency range of 9kHz to 30MHz, in compliance with standards such as CISPR (International Special Committee on Radio Interference).
And this LISN can also be measured from single-phase to three-phase, four-wire systems, depending on the number of line phases provided. The measuring lines can also be switched using a remote switch in addition to the switch on the unit.
Additionally, by registering the correction factors of this device into radiation receiver manufactured by Kyoritsu Electronic Industry (KNM-2401, KNM-2402, KNM-2403, and KNM-S243), automatic addition can be performed through key operations, enabling direct reading measurement of interference voltage.

Precaution for use

1.Using a leakage current breaker on the power line may cause the breaker to trip.

Leakage current of AC100V, 50/60Hz, 400mA flows through the line.

[Countermeasures]

1) Use an isolation transformer.

2) Use a power line without a breaker installed.

2.When switching the measurement circuit, pulses are generated. When combined with a spectrum analyzer, there is a risk of damaging the input circuit of the spectrum analyzer.

[Countermeasures]

1) Using a high-pass filter TFL-009 or TFL-009D.

2) Switching after disconnecting the coaxial cable.

3) Following the requirements of the CISPR standard, inserting a 10dB attenuator inside or outside the lime impedance stabilization network to match the measuring terminals of the instrument to 50Ω. This model supports external attachment for this purpose.
