Importance of Winding Temperature Measurement [DAC-HRI-3N / DAC-HRI-3N TYPE 700]
The resistance of motor coils affects the temperature rise and energy loss.
Therefore, resistance testing on motor coils is important to ensure safety and to design energy efficient electrical equipment.
DAC-HRI-3N is designed to conduct temperature rising test of coils in inverter (PWM) driven equipment, such as EV (Electric Vehicle) motors, DC brushless motors, Heat pumps and compressors.
Knowing the actual temperature rising value in the coil windings during operation is very helpful for safety evaluation and minimizing energy loss in electrical equipment.
DAC-HRI-3N / HRI-3N TYPE 700 can measure
resistances of the coil winding of a motor driven
inverter power supply (PWM) during applying voltage.
